Drive-to-store is particularly relevant for programmatic DOOH, as the measurement of visitor flows proves the relevance and effectiveness of DOOH and enables targeted campaign optimisation.

In a footfall DOOH campaign, mobile users are marked in the measurement pool when they are in the vicinity of a DOOH screen. This makes it possible to determine later whether a visitor to a POS or POI has previously been in contact with an outdoor advert. In addition, a score can be calculated for each location in order to evaluate the efficiency of the respective DOOH screen.

As media buying takes place in real time, advertisers can maximise visits to their locations.
